Why Thickness Matters: The 2.5mm Distinction
In the market for metal wall decor, many commercial products are fabricated from lightweight 0.8mm or 1.0mm sheet metal. While cheaper to ship, thin metal is prone to bending, warping under temperature fluctuations, and vibrating when mounted on the wall.
At Rosariya, we engineer every piece from 2.5mm architectural-grade cold-rolled steel. This heavy gauge provides exceptional structural rigidity, perfectly flat wall presentation, and a substantial, heirloom-grade weight that can be felt the moment you unbox the piece.
The Production Journey: Step by Step
Step 1: Fiber Laser Precision Cutting
Our designs are executed using industrial CNC fiber lasers operating at microscopic tolerances. This enables us to cut the most intricate calligraphy flourishes — such as the interlocking letters of the Shahada or the delicate floral arabesques of Surah Al-Ikhlas — with razor-sharp edge precision and zero thermal distortion.
Step 2: Ultrasonic Cleaning & Edge Deburring
Once cut, each piece undergoes a rigorous deburring process where all edges are rounded and smoothed by hand. The steel is then treated with an ultrasonic degreasing bath to remove all microscopic oils and industrial residues, ensuring an immaculate surface for coating adhesion.
Step 3: Anti-Corrosion Phosphate Pre-Treatment
Both the UAE and Indian coastal climates (Dubai, Mumbai, Chennai) experience elevated humidity and saline atmospheric exposure. To guarantee lifetime rust resistance, our steel undergoes a chemical iron phosphate pre-treatment that creates a protective molecular barrier against moisture penetration.
Step 4: Thermoset Powder Coating & Oven Curing
Next, architectural-grade polyester powder is applied electrostatically, wrapping around every contour of the metal. The piece is then baked in an industrial curing oven at 200°C (392°F). This fuses the powder into a continuous, rock-hard polymer shield that will never chip, fade, peel, or discolor.
Step 5: Hand Finishing & White-Glove Crated Packaging
Every piece is inspected by our master artisan before receiving a signature serial number and certificate of authenticity. It is cushioned with high-density custom EVA foam and packed in reinforced export-grade wooden crates, ensuring it arrives at your doorstep in pristine gallery condition.
